The previous version of the Norge Familie website had been up for several years and despite the client’s continued pleasure with the site, I felt it was due for a redesign. The primary reason being the visual design itself but also to make better use of the typical user’s larger screen size. The new site also incorporate many elements of jQuery and Ajax into the order process making adding items to the cart easier, improving full size image views, and making order forms more user friendly. Orders are still processed by hand but plans are in place to soon incorporate PayPal for processing payments.
